Benefitting from a 30-year heritage of craftsmanship, Sappi has created a folding box board 1 (FBB1) that brings your ideas and inspirations to life.

Ultimate brightness and purity, high carton board gloss with a silky-matt surface, bulk and stiffness – this is Atelier, a new dimension in folding box board.

In order to ensure the consistent quality of Atelier to serve this top-quality segment, the paper machine 6 has been converted at Sappi’s Maastricht mill. With this multi-million euro investment, we are now able to meet the growing demand for brilliant white GC1 cartonboard while ensuring economically sustainable operations. The machine conversion has been completed, and the results of the extensive and intensive quality checks are very positive. The first folding box production sheets will soon leave the mill.
