Visit us at the FachPack 2021 – either live or virtually!

Sappi is promising more innovations than ever before at this year’s FachPack.

When it comes to innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, Sappi has been a frontrunner for years. At the FachPack from 28 to 30 September 2021 in Nuremberg, the market leader will be presenting its latest developments in Hall 7A, Stand 426. These include innovative high-barrier papers with integrated heat-sealing capability, an uncoated, bright white virgin-fibre liner for corrugated board applications and paper carrier bags, a non-wet-strength, wet-glue label paper and new papers in the flexible packaging sector.

A visit is always worth your while

If you are interested in the latest trends and news from the packaging industry, you won’t want to miss a visit to the Sappi stand this year – live or virtual. In the area of Functional Paper Packaging, Sappi will be showing barrier papers with the Guard and AvantGuard product families, which, thanks to integrated barriers, eliminate the need for additional special coatings or laminations, and can be recycled in the wastepaper stream. For the first time, Sappi is also presenting its AvantGuard S high-barrier paper with integrated heat-sealability.

Also new to the range is the Fusion Nature Plus uncoated and recyclable virgin-fibre liner. The product is suitable for corrugated or solid board packaging where a bright white appearance is required for top liners, inner liners and corrugating medium, or to produce paper carrier bags.

Furthermore, Sappi has expanded its portfolio with the Parade Label Pro non-wet-strength, wet-glue label paper, which is suitable, for example, for labels on disposable bottles, food and non-food containers, as well as for wrappers on a variety of products. The paper is glossy, double-coated on one side and has a smooth surface with a high degree of whiteness.

A wide range of kraft papers for flexible packaging will also be introduced. One of the new products is the Crystalcon translucent paper which is both recyclable and compostable. Sappi is also presenting other new packaging papers for the food industry. The Fibrecar MT and Delicon papers, for example, have been specially developed for food products.

Examples of high-quality packaging for premium products will also be shown, which have been implemented with the Algro Design premium cellulose board.

Trade fair presentations – both analogue and digital

In view of the exceptional circumstances resulting from the COVID 19 pandemic, Sappi has designed its trade fair presence as a hybrid event format. Visitors will therefore be able to participate virtually even without travelling to Nuremberg.
