We assist printers in bottom-line-boosting ways by analysing data and processes to co-create solutions that can increase operational efficiency, reduce working capital and optimise material efficiency.
This can mean, for example, simplifying your paper portfolio in combination with a tailored supply chain solution, improved forecasting, a streamlined ordering process and bespoke staff trainings in areas such as sustainability.
In-house training can also be provided to help key staff understand the major impact even minor adjustments can have on the business. Meanwhile, our Sappi’s Value Development Process support is provided on an ongoing, long-term basis.
In Hungary, Marzek Kner Packaging Kft has become a Sappi Value Development Process partner. After being introduced to the process, the company invited us to analyse their consumption data and suggest improvements, while keeping in mind the key importance to their business of security of supply.

Working closely together, we developed a cost-saving solution based on a new tailored supply chain solution combined with a simplified portfolio of papers. This has allowed the company to reduce its working capital, lower transport costs and institute a new, regular supply schedule – all without impacting the security of supply previously only offered by high in-house stock levels. Meanwhile, the process and improvements are ongoing.
